The sales slump continues. I have to get new stories out. About the only good thing is I've got one short RVA tale in the can and two longer novellas in production. But the two cover artists I habitually use are unavailable now and finding another that will work at such reasonable rates is daunting ( Read more... )

Summary: Another broad but shallow month. Lots of sales across the board but no real spikes on any of them.

Things to Do: I'm pausing on my 365 Days of Drabbles project so I can push forward on I Fought the Claw. As an interim piece I'm re-working Mimsey's Tale for sale as a $0.99 story. I've already commissioned Wazaga for the cover, just waiting ( Read more... )

Demon Eyes is now available at Smashwords in a variety of ebook formats for free.

Mostly because I'd sold all of two copies before this so it was time to put it in the virtual remainder bin...

So theferret has an essay about the futility of banning books where he mentioned his Home on the Strange Strip strip (NSFW!) about the two plots female characters are always involved in, Rape and Pregnancy.  The Home on the Strange strip blames lazy/underpaid  sci-fi script writers, but it did prompt me to see if my own house was in order concerning it.
